This scene makes use of the Stochastic Progressive Photon Mapping (SPPM) integrator included with LuxRender 1.6. The scene is composed of highly specular glossy and glass materials, making it difficult to resolve for path-based integrators. Consisting of over 5 million polygons due to the high-resolution fluid simulation, each image rendered to 5000 passes with 10 million photons per pass, for a total of 50 billion photons traced per image.
